Looks like Crowie is following in the footsteps of Macca being the face for an upcoming set of “destination training villages”

I’m surprised there hasn’t been much discussion of this.
Concept seems cool and the list of proposed amenities is impressive. I can’t wait to see the pricing for this. Supposed to be released on Saturday.
Can anybody please actually explain WHAT this entity is? Is it real estate? Is it a certification of existing areas/developments? Is it vaporware?
It’s a training resort, like Playitas or Sands Beach. But on steroids.
They seem to have big investors and partners on board, plus an array of top pros committed to being resident athletes, so it must actually be happening. The original site didn’t have the network of sites listed, so it seems they are planning to expand to a number of different locations, a “chain” of top-grade training resorts.
It seems like a grand vision of what dream training would look like. The list of proposed amenities and services is quite impressive and exhaustive. The capital outlay to meet what is being promised to be delivered has to be enormous. From what I can gather, nothing has been built yet. Not sure where the investors are coming from or if the plan is to sell memberships and then use that to provide the capital to build the facilities.
I remember seeing a list of investors on the original website, but they aren’t listed right now. I can’t imagine memberships or usage fees would cover the monumental cost of developing this up front.

I have been following this for a while and forgot about it.I can’t imagine what membership will cost but I expect it to be sort of “exclusive” or in other words more than I can afford.
This did make me look at their website. Had a chuckle when I read the following:
“One truly epic experience being planned is a Century ride from downtown Bend to the base of Mt. Hood, then a foot climb to the summit. Not a bad brick workout?”
The time of the year for that epic ride is not quite conducive to summiting Mount Hood. But kudos to Firstbourn for coming up with a workout that I hadn’t thought of.
