And I love it!! Has anyone seen the new super low cut tri shorts by DeSoto? And the girl that models these (last page of the new DeSoto catalog) does these shorts the justice that they deserve. How low is too low though? I’m sure we’ll be seeing a lot of cracks on the bike. I guess I speak for all of us guys when I say Thank you Emilio!
I missed out on that thread a few days ago about Desoto. But I’ll echo what the others said on a thread about the nicest Tri customer service company, and DeSoto would be it. I had some confusion on a purchase I made and emilio got involved himself and fixed it. That kind of small stuff makes a difference.
I just went to the website to buy a pair and…no men’s sizes!

Yawn. Personally I’d rather see more leg than butt crack. Much prefer the high cut V style briefs on a woman any day.
Love legs and butt (crack and cheek) on female triathletes but in an attempt to stave off the impending backlash from women P.O.ed about objectification of women athletes let me just say that I love every aspect - physical, mental, and emotional - of the fit and strong woman triathlete. Yes they look damn hot powering up hills in a bikini or short shorts(probably cause of many male drafting penalties) but more than that (or perhaps because of that?) they have a self-confidence and energy that makes the average woman on the street pale in comparison. Too bad about uber-couple Peter and Lori but I think that break up was more an exception than the rule. As an admittedly addicted triathlete (my roommate is astounded by my routine and my expenditures and is convinced that triathlon is just like crack) I will stay single until one of those bikini-clad women blowing by me on the bike takes pity on me and marries me…

Let me start off by saying “Female Triathletes are Freakin HOT!”
The reason female triathletes are so hot has a lot more to it than just looking good though.
There are a lot of good looking women out there, but somehow I just don’t find them to be anywhere near the class of a female triathlete. One thing very few women can fake (and not well at that) is real muscle. I’m not talking bulky Arnold Whatshisface muscle, I’m talking toned and defined, the “I’ve been out working and I kicked it’s butt” kinda muscle.
Female triathletes have a work ethic. (which is my favorite part) you don’t get passed by a lazy lady. She’s passing you because she worked very hard to get there. (now that’s pretty D@mn sexy)
And finally Female Triathletes do have confidence. If you can take the pain and suffering of doing a three hour brick workout, most everything else seems pretty trivial.
So to all the lady triathletes out there “Rock On!”
