I had a number of the athletes I coach competing in Ironman Western Australia yesterday. In the lead up I had them experiment with various equipment and clothng options, and recommended the clothing set up I use - Forza Riviera top and bottoms - fit, comfort, compressor enhanced proprioception, and a great chamois (bike course is ALL flat so good chamois = critical). Not unexpectedly it was a warm day and staying cool was paramount. Upon crossing the finish line my athletes commented that due to the material used in the waist section and the rubber gripper they were able to throw ice down their back and it would stay there until it melted! Did Emilio and his team have this in mind when they designed it? If not, they might consider adding it as a marketing point!
They are awesome aren’t they. I really like mine.
I like mine but I had to cut that chamois out of them. I just couldn’t run with it.
