I’m looking for a good sports-med PT in the Aurora/Denver area. I recently had a lateral release along with cartilage implant.
Thanks for any recommendations!
I just moved to Denver a few months ago…man, you guys have nice weather!

Talk to Charlie Merrill at Alta Physical Therapy in Boulder. www.altatherapies.com
Bob Cranny is the man! He was the key to Simon Lessing’s return after his major back surgery, and treats a slew of triathletes in the Boulder area; plus, he’s an acomplished Ironman … and a great guy. His business is called Altitude Physical Therapy - in both Boulder & Longmont.
Thanks for the recommendations but Boulder/Longmont are 50+ miles from my house. I was hoping to find someone in Aurora/Denver.
If Bob and Charlie are highly recommended by members of this forum, maybe if you call one of them, they can give you a good referral to someone in Aurora?
I’ve used Tim at Physiotherapy Associates in Greenwood Village; he was great. They also have locations in Aurora. Good luck!
Welcome to the area!
I will throw out another recommendation: Stuart Wilson at Champion Sports Medicine and Physical Therapy. He does great work and is in downtown Denver.

Bob
Welcome to Colorado!
I had a lateral release along with a plica removal and some cartilage cleanup 9 weeks ago today. I have been working with Mike Allen, Director of PT at Steadman Hawkins, here in Denver and the rehab is going really well. Their website is shcdenver.com. Check them out and I think you’ll be pretty pleased.
