Can’t help you with the job, but good luck to you!! I hope it all works out. Colorado is gorgeous…I hope to live there one of these days myself. I gotta believe that with your Army helo experience somebody would snap you up in a heartbeat.
I lived right outside the landing pad at St jo’s for a year. You fuckers would wake me up all the time! Creeped me out. Every time I heard a helicopter I knew it was because somewhere someone was haveing a life changing moment.
Anyway, good luck to you. If you strike out in D town, I know we need two more piolets here in Phoenix… too soon?.. yep, too soon. sorry
I know someone in Denver area who volunteers as a fireman… I saw a pic of him in a helicopter. Want me to send him an email with your info? PM or email me with your infor and maybe he can pass it on. He’s a Fed (federal investigator) with the Dept of Interior in his day job.
There is also quite a bit of Oil & Gas work being done on the western Slope, San Juan basin, and north into Wyoming. You might want to check with oil field services companies as well.
I would suggest calling Centennial Airport which is SE of Denver. CA is a super busy airport, and I know that helos are based there. Two friends fly small private jets out of there, but I do not know who flies helicopters. I recently read in the Denver Business Journal, about a guy who was building a heliport to service and maintain helicopters at the airport.
