I saw TDB come through mile 6.5 at about 10 minutes down - he looked ok - but not as smooth as I have seen him come through before. He definitely looked to be laboring. This might be his last go around at Kona - just a feeling.
Macca looked good, Simon was hurting. PR, Widoff, looked good. Natacha was running at least 20 secs per mile faster than MJ - I saw her take back about 1 minute in 1.5 miles. Should be a good battle out there.
DeBooms whole season is geared around Kona. maybe he’ll change his build up a bit next year - and maybe win another race (sponsors might like that) but i think you’ll see him at kona again next year.
