That was one of my top 5 series of all time, I was devastated when they cancelled it. So yes, I will be watching, although probably after you all since I do not have HBO at the moment. I will be signing out of the threads, until I catch it and can opine with some authority…

Come on, Steve. That was a bit harsh.
I loved the stroll down memory lane. I love seeing how 10 years seemed to barely touch some actors and be a bit cruel to others. I loved the dialogue that rolled off the tongue like they had never taken a break. I loved the flashbacks rolled perfectly into the modern story.
But the criticism of the series ending was lack of closure. The movie promised closure. It was an apology for not giving us the final season we were supposed to get.
To that end, it fell short. It was simply a 2 hour episode. So, yes, there was an awful lot to love. But we didn’t get what was promised.
If you went to Robert Kraft’s massage parlor and didn’t get the full Kraft treatment, you would still walk away with a wonderful massage, but would leave a bit unsatisfied.
