Went for a run yesterday, afterwards tried to upload the workout. Attached to the computer and it let out a long beep and died. Have tried hard reset to no success, anything else I could try? Thanks

I’m assuming it is out of warranty. If so, you can opt to use their out of warranty replacement program. Looks for $89 you can get a refurbished 210. Alot cheaper than having to purchase a new one.

Its been well over two years since I had to contact them for my bike Garmin. But I THINK it was only through e-mail. I don’t believe there is/was a phone option. I could be wrong though.
If you want something similar, buy the Suunto Quest. Same features and price point as the 210, but the Quest is waterproof. A great running watch.
Not really a Suunto fan but thanks for the option, just wish the 210 would come back to life!!!
How did you do the reset (step by step)?
Yes can’t recall right now but something like pressing lap/start stop at the same time then light and holding down for a few seconds, but it is completely unresponsive. Is there another method besides throwing it against a brick wall???
I had something similar happen to mine too.
I can’t recall the exact sequence, but I only had to do a “soft” reset.
I did lose data and I had to re-enter my profile.
I think I connected it to my laptop and did the soft reset while plugged in.
So try to just hold the light button only.
Try to get the latest version of the sofware if you do manage to start it.

ITS ALIVE. Did the soft reset with it plugged into the computer and it came on then went off then came on again. Lost all data but seems to be working now. Thanks all hopefully this is the end of the story!!!
Unfortunately not the end of the story, dead again. This is my 4th Garmin and probably my last what a piece of junk!!!
