This is the best Led Zeppelin song ever. The whole band is featured on this song at various points. Plant’s vocals are powerful. Lyrics are very cool (although reported to be stolen). I’m not a big Page fan but I love his work onthis song ranging from great rhythm licks to psychadelic solos to that raging, furious jam in the middle. Jones- there are some major bass lines in this song that can only be appreciated with a premium sound system. Bonham - I love drumming and this is one of my favorite songs. Just great slow drumming working the beginning followed by some crazy stuff in the middle-end of the song.
I’m right, don’t try to argue with me but I am willing to listen to your arguments on the best Zeppelin song ever.

This is a flat out great song. There’s a lot of what I like to call musical masturbation in dazed and Confused, and in a lot of Zeppelin in general, musicains pleasuring themselves, not in Rock n Roll. its a classic and is #1 on my I-Pod treadmill mix.
The intro to rock n roll is awesome and dazed and confused is great(especially live), however, since I’ve been loving you is the best Zep song(especially live). I guess this post is pretty much over.
there was a guitar shop where I grew up and the long haired kids would hang out there a lot. The owner had a big sign up on the wall where the guitars were racked,
PLEASE FEEL FREE TO PLAY ANY GUITAR…UNLESS YOU WANT TO PLAY STAIRWAY TO FUCKING HEAVEN.
I want my rock music to get me out of my seat, rock n roll does that. Dazed and Confused is to rock what James Joyce is to literature, long winded, hard work, and enjoyed by just a few elitists
“Been Dazed and Confused for so long it’s not true.
Wanted a woman, never bargained for you.
Lots of people talk and few of them know,
soul of a woman was created below.”
There are so many great Zeppelin songs, but Kashmir is one of my favorites and also happens to be my ringtone on my cell phone right now.
The video is live. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=73dvrir5kig

That is a great list and includes some of my favorites.
It’s hard to decide the best songs. They were so far ahead of their time. My 18 year old daughter likes them too, which goes to show that some bands are timeless.
"Over the Hills and Far Away, “When the Levee Breaks” “Whole Lotta Love” and “Ramble On” are definitely in my top 10.
As an aside, Robert Plant was hot.
