This has been a very good idea. Everyone seems so busy these days its very hard to get a group environment sometimes to push us along. Putting yourself and your committment to a training program out there to public scrutiny also helps you to get your butt out the door. Pride can be a very valuable asset sometimes. It would be great if Dan couuld organize another one later in the year so people can do a bit of planning. After going through the process once I’m sure every one who played along will have a much better idea what they can and will do next time.
I agree. I found it was a great motivator to just do a little extra. We should run one at regular intervals, say once a quarter or something.
I am bummed I ddin’t play along. It was not to be this week, I am afraid. I hope we do this again soon.

we’ll have another one in just a couple of weeks, april 7-11. a shorty but goody. much bigger rides. this one we’re now in is sort of a feeder for that one.
then, yeah, we’ll have one or two more later in the year i’m sure.
i hope this makes people aware of how much work you guys do in an epic camp. i think francois is actually doing something like epic camp numbers, in which case people can see what’s in store for them if they step up and become an epic camper.
are you going to put together a list of suggested workouts again?
ok, so I’m not in the epic field, how about “anecdote camp” for me? (correction - 214 for 8 days)
