Darwinism in the work place:

This is an email sent in a broadcast email to all employees from an assistant in our central finance/sales office in the Midwest:

To Whom It May Concern, Please see my attached resume & salary history. I have 3 1/2 yrs of Insurance experience & 7+ years of Customer Service and Phone Skills. I am looking to make at least what I do now but that is negotiable. I am presently seeking new employment because I would like to work with a company where there is room for growth, both personally and professionally. There is no room for either where I am currently employed. If you are interested, I would love to hear from you and hear more about the position.

The kicker is: this person’s Mother is the office manager!

They have been saying this for years, but it’s surprising that more than a few people have not got the message - you have to be REALLY careful of what you say electronically, in email and otherwise, because someday it’s going to come back to haunt you.

Did he/she get grounded?

I understand if you are directing this at me, however the fact this message went to this person’s bosses, including her Mother, has me in hysterics!

Yeah, did she take away his XBOX?
