What are the biomechanical issues of moving my seat forward on my road bike to get closer to my clip on aero bars?
If you ONLY move the seat forward then you may actually benefit by opening up the hip angle. You’ll should then raise the seat a tad, though, to keep the distance to the BB consistent.
The downside is that you will have more weight forward on the cockpit and this could affect handling.
A shorter stem may help with the reach issue but would make handling even more twitchy.
