I think we can all agree the Hottie thread has long since degraded into the off-topic tread it was destined to become.
The Laveneder room is stufy and boring. Tibbs “cocktail girls” never showed up. They took all his money and dreams and went off to party it away like drunk schoolgirls. Please help out the entire Slowtwitch community, well okay, the entire hetrosexual slowtwitch community and move Hottie thread to that lovely lavender room in thev sky.

P.S. When will the lazy ladies of Slowtwitch start there own hottie thread? In the lavender room of course.

There always has to be one bad apple in the bunch. I actually don’t think we can all agree like you said. If the hottie thread bothers you just don’t click on it. It’s that easy to do. Having a whole forum completely dedicated to triathlon can get a little dull and boring. It’s nice to spice it up a little with something different.

What about all the websites dedicated to girls in bikinis/sports bras? Do they get boring and dull? I contributed in the thread, but I find it weird that no matter what type of message board ther eis, guys always seem to need to make a “hottie thread” despite the fact that a large majority of the internet seems dedicated to “hottie content”.

Sod, from Sodom and Gomorrah(sp?) from the Bible, generally a short form of “sodomy” which is as we all should know is English for ass-fu#k.

Not quite so nice when you say it in American.

Also, the English “Bugger”, which is a very gentle swear word here in New Zealand, also means ass-fu#k.

“Bugger” was used in slightly controversal Toyota series of TV ads here and managed to increase the use of Bugger in general useage. Excellent.

Actually I was refering to sod, as in grass when it’s sut into slabs, and pasted on to a yard to give the appearance of grass…but…whatever works…

Yeah that toyota ad is one of the funniest ads I’ve ever seen. If no-one else has seen it, I have a poor copy of it I can put up somewhere.

Oh, and Tomb Raider, the movie managed to do quite well at increasing the usage. Being a brit in the US at the time, everyone used to think it hilarious when I said bugger.
