There’s no value to this post other than me letting off steam over the fact that I’ve had a bad nutritional week this week. Dammit!
See, I bought this wine, and even though I’m not a wine guy, it was really good, and, uh, one thing led to another, and I ordered a pizza on Monday. Then I finished the bottle on Tuesday, and it made me want a huge cheesy burrito (I’ve been trying to eliminate dairy). Then lunch yesterday was a disaster.
Better than the hell that I am dealing with this week after I spent last week on the road for work.
I don’t eat fast food and last week I ate 7 (yes seven) fast food cheese burgers, 6 orders of fries, 7 colas (I don’t dring soda very often either), and consumed somewhere in the neighborhood of 24 beers.
I don’t see the problem with what you ate this week. Afterall, it is the off-season! I wish I could say the same about BigSky, but that is a bit much. Sure you are on the road, but have you ever heard of a place called Subway, or salads (usually pre-made at grocery stores). I’ve eaten some fast food, but can’t remember ever having eaten it 7 days in a row. WOW!
When you’re at the grocery store, you only have to resist the urge once; after you’ve bought it, you have to resist it every second of every day. Be strong! I always go grocery shopping immediately after finishing a meal- usually dinner- so I am not hungry and less likely to make poor choices.
You guys are making me feel better about the number of pieces of chocolate I have eaten in the past 2 days, and
I am happy I am able to, occasionally, take a break from my OCD, and enjoy f**cking up my diet every once in a while. I have learned to embrace my nutritional slips (as long as they are only evry once in a while)
Would you mean, perhaps, a big slab of rick, dark chocolate? A perfectly square, luxuriously dark block of Ghirardelli’s best? Just one inviting bite of that smooth, orgasmic perfection? Is that what you’re referring to?

I don’t see the problem. You just described my typical weekend, sans the beer.
Not a problem so much as a missed opportunity. This being the off season, I’m trying to refine my diet - get into better habits, and generally eat in a more enlightened way. Most of this week just ran counter to what I’m trying to achieve, but I guess it’s nothing to get too stressed over.
ya well stop whining!!! atleast you arent in italy where the tempation of eating pannini annd pizza… and mingya the icecream… jeez all day long i think about eating this crap… its soo tempting, ive dipped a bit too deep over here however… bacon saucage on a pepperoni pizza too often… talk about ,eat loving, i think i need to stop consumation of these products, did i also mention the wine???
