My cyclops2 trainer began making a rattling noise during a ‘ride’ the other day. The resistance seems to be fine. I put a different bike on it to be sure it wasn’t the bike. It’s not the bike. Nothing seems loose and it makes no noise below about 12-13 mph. I tried it again today. It still makes the noise. Anyone with a similar experience? What did it turn out to be?
I get a noise sometimes when the washer on the adjustable part of the skewer holder isn’t tightened all the way. It rattles and makes a noise like change rattling in my pocket.
Good thought. That is one thing I didn’t check.
It was indeed loose. Now to find out if it that was it.
