Hi,
I’m looking for a reliable, quality shoe. I am willing to pay for quality, but don’t need ultra-light, ultra-fast, etc.
I’m a beginner triathlete, have done 2 sprints, will be doing an olympic later this year. I ride about 50-100miles per week, sometimes more, and am doing a century in August.
Any recommendations?

You really gotta try them on - the top models fit very differently. Carnacs are too wide in the toe for me, Shimanos are nice shoes, but too wide in the heels for me. Sidis fit me like gloves. All nice shoes, but shoes are like bikes, you gotta go by fit.

if you have a wide (caveman) foot, they are great.
