Cycling insoles?

Hi,
Any recommendations on brands of insoles? Any thoughts on them?

Super Feet – use them in both running and cycling shoes
.

I have been using Superfeet insoles (the grey ones) for a couple of weeks. At least for me, the improvement in comfort has been amazing. These are the only insoles I have ever tried so I can’t compare them to any others.

Now it feels like my whole foot is in contact with the sole of the shoe. Much more comfortable.

In retrospect, it does seem kind of stupid to just assume your feet are going to magically fit an off the shelf shoe without a little tweeking. We spend hours fussing over the fit of our bikes then just jam our feet into a shoe.

I just picked up a pair of Dr. Sholle Sport Gel inserts at the local Drug Mart. They work great. The ‘Sport’ gel inserts have a little extra arch support which I find very confortable. I’ve been having problems with the ball of my feet and the inserts definitely make things more confortable. The only thing I did not like about them is that they add quite a bit of weight to my shoes which probably translates to a few seconds or more over the long haul.
