Cycling BROKEN Here!

For those around the Raleigh NC area just think about this the next time you need service…

For over two wks I have been trying to get a rim for a low - mid range bike from Cycling Spoken Here…two weeks for a rim?

I called this afternoon and guess what… they do not have the paperwork!

You know what that means… they didn’t order the rim… so that will be another week!

No way… moving on…

A) Calling on a Sunday afternoon, probably not the best idea as most of this ordering/receiving activity would happen M-F, maybe on a Saturday;
B) Have you “spoken” with a manager/owner of the shop? Is there something in the communication between you and the shop that is broken?

And finally (C) As Diesel suggests, check the FAQ’s about bashing a company publicly here. All things being equal, it’s not cool. No, we don’t know your whole story and it does sound like there’s an issue that needs to be addressed----but address it with the LBS before blasting them here.

As a regular visitor to the Apex location, I’ve found them to be very good folks. They’ve provided a number of tweaks and fixes free of charge. And, for two years, they sent two techs to our charity store where we were giving away bikes to kids. The techs spent hours checking over and fixing up the kids bikes, free of charge.

Sometimes things happen. Give them an opportunity to make things right.

Dude…shut up! You are such a moron and that is a stupid post. Let the guy tell his story. He is probably just looking for some help and wants a freaking wheel. And if business is bad somewhere…I want to know where it is so that I don’t make the mistake. Furthermore, what about all the companies that receive praise…?? Oh, they can’t receive criticism. Go mow your yard or something.

Guess I need to retract my earlier statement! As it turns out the rim/tire/wheel was ordered. Seems to be the mix up was which store was doing what.
