Ok I need some help deciding on which trainer to purchase, I currently have a Cycleops Mag Trainer with the remote and do about 3 - 4 rides per week lasting anywhere between 45 minutes to an hour and a half. I’m thinking about upgrading my trainer for something more quite due to the excessive noise my mag makes when I’m in harder gears. I’ve looked into the Cycleops Fluid 2 but after some research, I’ve read that the Cycleops Supermagneto Pro is the quietest of the group. Anybody have any experience or comments on this trainer vs the Fluid 2? I’ve done my research online but I’m looking for some personal comments plus I’m trying to decide if the extra $100 is worth the difference. Thanks!
I have a Supermag Pro and used to have a KK. I’ve also used a Fluid 2. The KK is way better than the fluid but I really like my Supermag Pro. The adjustability of it is great and it actually works unlike most trainers with that remote control for resistance. It’s also just as smooth as a the other’s if not smoother in all of the settings. It’s a great trainer.
