I am looking for new running shorts. All the stuff I have now seems to be falling apart and since i will be training mostly inside for the next six months or so I think everyone would appreciate if I updated my training wardrobe. Normally I wear short tights, but would really like some more semifitted, retro style shorts. Can somebody recommend brands and/or online stores? (I’m not based in the US so need to shop online)

I would die to work for lulu. Well, actually I might die of starvation if I did, because I would buy their stuff with ever cent I earned. I love mine and mostly just wear them around instead of running in them!

You can also check out http://www.impactfitnesswear.com for running shorts. Their Baja Short is what my wife and her sister run in. It is a longer short, almost knee length. My wife also likes their Wasatch Capri, it is a little bit more fitted. They only ship to the U.S. and Canada. Hope this helps.
I second the Lulu running shorts - I just got the “run speed shorts”…so cute and super comfy! I also got a running skirt to try. I was skeptical, but no longer…it is so light and cool and feels great to run in.
Sugoi Moxi shorts. I think you can get them at backcountry.com I have 3 pair and pretty much live in mine.
Consider running skirts. I tried one about 4 years ago and never wore shorts again. There are a lot of them out there, I happen to like the Marathon Girls at www.skirtsports.com

Speaking of running skirts, I recently started wearing a sparkle running skirt (Team Sparkle) in both my running races and triathlons. You wouldn’t believe how many compliments I get. I’ll admit it, I like attention and I get it.
