I’m using the 3T Brezza II aerobar and want to raise my armrests about 25mm. I know the 3T risers let you do 10, 20 or 30. Has anybody had the “opportunity” to cut these down? Not that 5mm will necessarily make that much difference, but why not if it’s really easy with no potential repurcussions?
First, check that you’re sure you want to do that. See here:

In particular, note how it will affect your reach quite considerably.
Other alternatives might include using the 20mm spacer and then using thicker and more comfier pads like the Ceegee. That’ll get you pretty much to 25mm, especially if your current pads are old.
I Dremelled through a 25mm Vision riser to make 2 (approximately) 12mm risers with no issues.
Yeah, I simulated it with the similar but wrong components and the positions all work out, but I only needed 25mm. How many seconds does the aero penalty of thick armrests cost me compared to aerodynamic risers?!
