I’ve had alot of interest in these. For those that asked, no, there are no dimples. Zipp wasn’t selling bare rims at the time in the dimpled version (in fact, they still sell the smooth version like these to Cane Creek and American Classic for use in their wheelsets.) Zipp claims a “1 to 3” watt savings with dimples - which wasn’t enough for me to worry about (my 40k average was over 360 W) and if it was, I would’ve gotten a disc.

Again, they’re 25 miles from being brand new.

I also had a question about the weight - my best guess would be that the hubs add about 80g, but these spokes are lighter than the spokes Zipp uses, and I have two less on the front - so figure about 50g more for the set - and none of the “my zipp hub bearings/freewheel are worn out for the Nth time this season…”
