The thing that holds the skewer snapped off on my wife’s CT? I couldn’t find a replacement on the website. ANyone had this happen and/or replaced their skewer holder?
thanks
Dude, she must be putting out some massive power to have that happen! ![]()
Seriously, though, never heard of folks trashing the CT. That thing is so overbuilt! You’re probably going to have to write the CT guys for this one.

The fortified quick release lever is about half way down the page:
http://www.computrainer.com/html/Parts.htm
I have one on each bike and they’ve held up well over time (up to about 43,000 miles since 1991).
Get back on it, quick!

I think he’s looking for the mechinism that holds the skewer not the skewer itself. But I could be wrong.
don’t really have a solid solution, maybe try contacting Blackburn/Graber, whoever owns that now. The Computrainer is just used in conjunction with the windtrainer unit by them. As an aside, the one thing that I think they did a very poor job on is that exact part. The newer (past 10 years) release mechanism is a lot better than what comes on the Computrainer equipped Blackburn stands.

Ah, got it – the part of the CT that holds the skewer…the go-to guy at RacerMate for any kind of technical assistance is Roger Moore. Give him a call at 800-522-3610, x328.
