So was it the bike or the gym work …
and how could he possibly have won hawaii twice without those two factors…
Anybody know what his basic routine was?
the bike was about 6-7min faster than last year, he wore a aero helmet lets give it 2min savings and a more aero bike that fits him better lets go 2min, that is about 10min and the low end4:38=4:28 so he biked a little harder there is the last couple min. Remember he ran a 2:42(2:41:59) and this year a 2:44, so his harder bike took some out of his run. dont see how the gym changed much.
I guess he should have spent more time swimming, biking and running instead of in the gym. That couple of hours a week probably could have been spent getting him under 8 hours.
I think his strenght routine was inflicting himself a virus and then coughing so much till he broke 2 rips.
i heard he just did crossfit
