Crono Metro?

Anybody have good/bad thoughts about bike fittings at Crono Metro (http://www.cronometro.com/) in Madison?

thanks.

Great guys and I have friends that will only buy and be fitted through them. (6 1/2 hour drive) They love their cervelos but have even more custom options that are worth checking into.

Very nice job fitting folks, really spend the time with you and focus on client satisfaction and not just on getting you the most aero. Expensive but very quality. I was happy w/ the job they did w/ me a year ago.

I have had two fittings there. One for my tri bike and one for my road bike. I have mixed feelings. One fitting was excellent, one was not. One of their 3 fitters (the one who was FIST certified) left the shop earlier this year.

My 2 cents: if you are going to get a fitting then make sure you have Colin do it.

I’ve only heard good things about them for quite some time.

I purchased and was fit on my P2k there, nothing but good things to say, though admittedly that may not mean a whole lot coming from me as that was my first time being professionally fit. Therefore I have nothing to compare it to and I don’t tend to be too picky in the first place. That being said I had a very good experience there and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it.

Great shop. Got fittted on my Soloist this year. Went back a month later to make adjustment with my position. Fantastic service after the sale.

Great guys…very professional and clean shop…nice rooms there for proper fitting with tons of mirrors and what not so you can see what you look like (HOT HOT HOT!!!)…from where I live, that is a great option as opposed to a very large well known shop in the Chicago area…

I love Cronometro. Colin fitted me last year to my Cervelo Soloist Team. I’m going to have him do a mt bike fitting for me also.

Clarence, I hate to give negative feedback, but I didn’t get a good fit at Crono. They did set up my cleats well. They charge $150 for a fit. My fit was not worth it. I ended up getting a better fit at the Bike Shop in Glen Elyn. I guess it’s a personal thing, the position they set me up with at Crono was not appropriate/comfortable.

Actually, their fits are $165.

But, Clarence, they do give you 80 bucks of that toward a bike purchase. Unfortunately that means Cervelo or something over $3K.

Did Colin do your fitting?

Clarence, PM me and I will give you more details and you can make your own decision.

Rich and Chris are great.

I would echo that comment. Rich and Chris are excellent!
