your seat’s too high…way too high.
your seat’s too high…way too high.
It’s not my seat, this is just some weekend warrior I ran across… LOL
Your water bottle is too low.

Well, to be fair the pic is not side-on, and the guy does look enviably (at least to me) flexible.
Crazy high seat!!! Wow…and owww
No, I think you most certainly had it right the first time. ![]()
Really bad position…seat height, cockpit length, head and shoulder posture are the most obvious. But heck it’s a P4 so he probably won or at least went low 50’s for the 40k.
That frame cost so much he couldn’t afford wheels : )
.
Local TT? I hope he was dq’d for an illegal seat post dimension.
That is what they call bike poor.Very similar to house poor, nice new house no furniture.
It looks like he is popping a wheelie. That would really cut down on rolling resistance from the front wheel.
I’m guessing it wasn’t his bike…
perfect dont change a thing, maybe put the seat up about another 2 inches and get a longer stem, wheels look fine maybe just spry paint the spokes black and throw a couple of Zipp stickers on them.
I’m guessing it wasn’t his bike…
I’m guessing he was taking a corner.
Didn’t you mean. "Hey, look at my awesome new bike!’ ![]()
J/V, you’re really going to post this and make fun fun of this guy? typical slowtwitch fashion I guess…i thought you were better than that…maybe you should offer the guy a professional fitting and you foot the bill for it…
since we are at it, while your time in the same race was respectable it was not even in the top 50 overall last week…
It’s still early in the season. He’ll use his “good wheels” when he’s got a better tan later this spring.

OUCH! I just thought the image was pretty illustrative for around here; some classic ST-isms all wrapped up into a thousand words pictorially. Certainly nothing personal, as impersonal as the internet can be. Consider it deleted out of deference to your being offended and calling me out. If you fit him on that bike, apologies (although I doubt it). If it’s a friend of yours, apologies (that could very well be).
As far as race times go, it’s just as likely that he whipped my arse and will do it again next week; I have no opinion nor made no assertions as to this rider’s (cap)abilities, and certainly have no lofty expectations of my own mediocre genetics. ‘Since you brought it up’, 70th out of 450+ is likely to be as good as I ever do in a race in this state, and I’m certain it was an aberration born of missing my start time that will all sort itself out next week.
Most of us are all weekend warriors that buy speed on street corners like 12th and Ford. It’s just that some of us (myself included) apparently have better dealers… ![]()

I’m not offended…I’m not the fitter either…I just don’t understand making fun of other people unless he/she is a friend of that person and it is good natured humor and the very least they are aware of it…perhaps you and I or anyone else commenting on this thread are not aware of the entire scope of possibilities on why the bike is set up that way or why he doesn’t have fancy wheels and all that jazz…
i still recommend you get him a FIST fit as a nice gesture…and I have some wheels he could “demo”
the world would be a better place if we all helped each other out a little bit…
