Critique my position (7)

Hey folks,

Got my new rig, but I’m having a really hard time generating any power from this position. It was a professional fit, but my neck is killing me around mile 10 and I’m having real stomach problems whilst maintaining an aero position. I have not done any ab work- core- but apparently need to because I cannot go more than a mile without experiencing a lot of pain. The fitter said this was as Aero as I could possibly be, but I just don’t think I can keep this up. What do you think? Any advice?

Fugly helmet.

Seat is too high.

damn…was just gonna say that!

too many spokes
.

Lots of aerodynamic turbulence being caused by all the crap in your jersey pockets…you want a clean line from the back of the helmet to your shoes.

rough road must be hell
.

You need to work on your ankle flexibility so you can point those toes straighter.

Air pressure in the back tire looks lower than the front.

Chris

should be more like this…

Watch out for the kryptonite, Triple X

Too funny. When I saw the superman position in this month’s Bicycling, I realized I hadn’t done a superman on a bike since I was… uhh… six years old? Naturally, I had to go out and do one to see if it was as much fun as I remembered. Yep, still fun!

I’m SO tempted to do one during my next race, should I manage to see the photographer in time.
