Critique my bike position please

I have not been to a fitter and really have no idea about my bike setup. Did my 4th 100+ ride yesterday in my lead up to B2B. My last two rides have been rather uncomfortable in the shoulder area after 3 hours or so. I have been swimming a lot more and done a long swim the day before the long ride two weeks ago which I attributed to it the first time. But yesterday it was just unpleasant, I did swim sunday but only for about 50 minutes. I am thinking my saddle needs to be raised some but tell me what you think.

So anyways here is a link, go ahead and chew me up and have fun but some serious comments would be appreciated. I know I will get some sh$% for wearing gloves and no I am not wearing a visor on my helmet, its my sunglasses.

Thanks

Pretty difficult to tell anything about your position from that picture. Pictures should be directly from the side and front. Your legs are mid pedal stroke so impossible to tell if your saddle’s too high. The amount of saddle to bar drop is about normal for AG triathletes. Lower/narrower on the cockpit may reduce your drag some but no way to tell how your shoulders will feel.

To get more aero, it looks like:
Shorten stem
Remove spacers/flip stem ( this will effectively shorten it as well)

But that’s just what it looks like, awkward angle, and awkward pause in the pedal stroke.

Your seat looks like it’s in the right height range at least…idk, maybe not. Can’t really tell.

Step 1) put bike in trainer, making sure wheels are level
Step 2) put self on bike, assume aero position
Step 3) have someone other than yourself take a side view shot at a height that is about bar height i’d imagine (someone can correct me on that)
Step 4) in those shots include one with pedal at 6 o clock and 1 with pedal at 12 o clock

Resubmit.

That part is important.
