Cristian Moreni - doper

Cristian Moreni, Cofidis was the one… testosterone. Way to go Cristian!

Vino and Landis are much better at doping than him
.

What’s so funny is that he was one of the riders taking part in the protest before the race…protesting against doping
.

-one of eight teams, sitting down protesting… What a joke.

What’s he supposed to do? Stand up and say, “I’m all for doping!”

What I want to know-is Cofidis going to be asked to leave the Tour like Astana?

Yea, why not, he is obviously for it.

Yes. People should be honest. Even if it seems ridiculous.
Or of course he could have not doped =0

Astana was asked to leave? I thought they withdrew voluntarily rather than being asked to leave. Must’ve ben wrong.

Wow,
If that continues, there won’t be many teams left in Paris.

The rider protest really shows the helplessness of the riders.

I don’t want to be a professional cyclist theses days.
In the past they had to deal “only” with the organisatorial/political chaos in professional cycling.

Now their sport gets totally ruined by their own and those who are trying to keep the sport clean.

Does anyone know why the whole teams are getting kicked out??? It really doesn’t seem fair to guys like Kloden and all the other riders. Is this a case of throwing out the baby with the bath water??? Was it announced before the race that this would be the punishment for the entire team??? I don’t like it, take out the positive rider, and move on…It does put a lot of peer pressure on the riders though, I will admit…But putting 8 innocents in jail for one criminal, seems to go against all logic and fairness… WHat if a rider beats the positive test later on, and is really innocent, how bad would that be. You didn’t just fuck one guys career, but 8 others as well…

Seems like a good way to end the custom of riders protecting each other and remaining silent
.

And why wasn’t T-Mobile kicked out? Or why aren’t they kicked out after all these other revelations? Like I asked velonews this morning, what punishment do the doctors and/or Directors get from this, since they are obviously aiding this? I’d think a few lifetime bans preventing the doctors from having any contact with any professional cyclist should help bring the sport in line.

Just seems like the tour is shooting themselves in the foot, and gives them incentive to not test too many riders… So if 7 or 8 more riders test positive, they have no Tour De France left…And that is not a far out scenario in the climate of the race this year… It’s not like the French to stab themselves, but right now they just must be spinning out of control, and shooting anything that moves in the dark…

I put myself in the athletes place(I used to be there), and if a guy on my team tested positive, and I got the penalty for it, I would be really pissed off… I cannot control others actions. It’s like saying some guy missed work today, so I got to fire the whole bunch of you…How would that go over in the workplace??? this is their workplace, shouldn’t it be treated like we would like ours to be treated???

Sinkewitz’ positive did not occur during the tour, but in an out of competition training camp, so therefore T-mobile are not asked to leave the tour. I hear Cofidis did not ask for a “b” test, so hopefully this means the rider might come clean (although I wont hold my breath over that one)

Kevin

If your workplace had rampant problems with theft or something they would probably lock things down and get pretty fascist there too =)

And that makes it right??? Hey I understand their frustration, just don’t see their logic, that’s all…

I don’t really think it is right or wrong. Some people own the race, they can make whatever rules they want. Cyclists can find a new job if they don’t like it.

I believe in personal liberty, but that works both ways =)
