I am thinking of getting a new felt B2. I like the specs on the TTr version, but like the color scheme on the B2 better. As far as I can tell, the frame and fork and wheels are the same. I think I could upgrade the
FSA crank and bottom bracket and have just as good a bike. The derailers are DA on the B2. My questions are. Im I on the right track, or is this going to make a mess? What crankset and BB would you all reccomend?
Im kinda a novice. Am I missing something?
You could buy the B2 and find a good deal on a DA 7800 crankset if you wanted but I dont think there is a problem with that FSA crank.
Im having a hard time giving up the sram red on the TTR version. I have the money to upgrade the crank. I have a set of 404s for race day. Its just that everything else on the bike is first rate.
What about the ZIpp Vumaquad? Too much hype? My lbs has had one for awhile I think I could get it for reasonable.
