I have a CAAD10 that I generally do all my road riding on. Currently, it has a Power2max with gossamer cranks along with a megaexo adapter. I also have a CAADX that has a power2max with rotor3d+ cranks and praxis rings, but it’s set up with the original BB30.
The CAAD10 is creaking badly and it’s long overdue for bottom bracket service. However, how much better is the rotor crankset over the gossamer crankset? I definitely want to have the better setup on the CAAD10 as I ride it far more.
The casd10 bottom bracket is creaking like crazy, so I was also going to nix the megaexo adapter and get a wheels manufacturing outboard bottom bracket to eliminate the creaking. But if I swap over the rotor crankset, I’ll be going back to stock bb30… good or bad or an adapter like megaexo/wheels manufacturing?
