OK, shameless plug, but this wasnt supposed to be out until April; but, being that it’s already out of the bag, you all might as well know about it too.
Officially, all I can say is that I cant say anything, but I can always answer to the best of my abilities.

That’s what I was pointing out; what else are you guys looking at? They are oval, but don’t really look like it on the picture.
I wish we could make them whistle; that would be sweet.
Drillium makes me nervous. I’ve seen scars.
Looks awesome… can we grate cheese on it too?

Officially I’d say that you need to run this by legal. Will a scale be included that prevents anyone over 120lbs from riding?
There may be a beveled edge to the arms starting about 1/3 length away from the center, but it looks like it is bent/twisted.
I sometimes tell my 4yr old daughter that just because you can do something doesn’t mean that you have to.

That crankset looks familiar to me. Would you void the guarantee if I try to do that at home?
Holes are better than dimples I guess.
Best wishes,

interesting design.
any particular reason the company didn’t just make the crank with thinner walls, vs. drilling the bloody heck out of it?
what is the big advantage? a few grams of weight savings?
what kind of warranty does rotor offer on these crankarms?

My guess is that it would cost tens of millions to set up a factory that can cast hollow crank arms…so the next best thing is to have a CNC machine drill out billet aluminum.

you might be right, but it sure looks like these cranks are both hollow and drilled:
.
Most Al crank arms ARE hollow.
