For any of you out there that have cramping issues, what have you found works best to eliminate them?
I’m just getting back into endurance sports after a bit of a hiatus, and I’ve been having trouble with my calfs cramping up on harder bike rides. Some of this is likely caused by me just being a bit out of “endurance” shape. I thought I had been hydrating enough, but maybe not? What is commonly thought of as the best endurance drink to have along for longer rides? I typically use gatorade, but I can’t say I notice it doing any better than just straight water.
Could an improper seat height adjustment be causing the calf issue?
