Cramer on Daily show tonight

I can’t wait, it should be awesome.

Well, the market’s up three days in a row…that should give them something to talk about.

Didn’t Cramer recently say for everyone to take their 5 year horizon money out of the market?

thats when I got back in!

I believe he made this comment on the Today show in October or November…

Yup. It’s near the end of this clip:

This is another clip about the Cramer/Stewart feud:

This is another weird one, like the Limbaugh story. However, Cramer is a life-long dem who agrees with virtually everything Obama has plans for, just not trying to do it all at once. He says something critical of the current path/plan, and is excoriated by the admin, and thereafter others on the left. Just weird that anyone notices or cares.

cramer is a TV personality and will do or say anything to maintain his 15 minutes. fame is a bigger drug than fortune these days. he’d sell his own mother on tv if he thought it would rate well.

You don’t watch The Daily Show, do you?

sometimes, and I’ve seen the Cramer related clips.

So you think Stewart’s comments about CNBC (Cramer was initially only a bystander, really) were a reaction to something critical Cramer said about the current path of the Obama administration? I think he was just pointing out that the talking heads of cable news (in this case CNBC) frequently don’t know what the F they’re talking about.

I heard about this and I need to watch TDS on the 4th and 9th in preparation for tonight’s show.

You can catch them both on hulu.com (if you weren’t already aware).

You’re right about Stewart’s initial mention of Cramer being part of a CNBC slam that he did because he was bent out of shape by Santelli reneging on a promise to do the show. Cramer was subsequently slammed by Obama spokesman Gibbs, and it has gained legs since. What a waste of time for everyone involved.

Thank God for John Stewart – pointing out hypocrasy at every turn.

**Cramer was subsequently slammed by Obama spokesman Gibbs, and it has gained legs since. What a waste of time for everyone involved. **

Actually it was Rick Santelli that was slammed by Gibbs. It was Santelli’s rant on CNBC that got this whole thing started in the first place. Cramer just happened to be a guilty bystander.

I know that the entire show is satirical, but that show really points out some issues with other talking heads and politicians. They had some really great stuff with the Alberto Gonzalez debacle and so far, this Jim Cramer stuff is pretty interesting as well.

Stewart is killing him, but nicely.

Cramer looks like he realizes he over reacted and is trying to do some damage control. I think he knows Stewart can make him look foolish, he’s being very subdued.

Cramer was brought into it specifically as well:

“The tension between White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs and CNBC anchors mounted on Monday as Gibbs took a swipe at Jim Cramer’s comments on the Obama economic plan.”

“I’m not entirely sure what he’s pointing to, to make some of the statements,” said Gibbs. “And you can go back and look at any number of statements he’s made in the past about the economy and wonder where some of the back-up for those are too.”
Then, when pressed further by Costello, Gibbs continued: “If you turn on a certain program it’s geared to a very small audience. No offense to my good friends, or friend at CNBC. But the President has to look out for the broader economy and the broader population.”
