Yup. Gotta send it back for replacement. Process is pretty straightforward. I’ve had to do it twice now. Costs $99 and takes about 2-3 weeks to get the replacement depending on where you live. If I recall, the Garmin address is in KS.
Don’t mean to hijack the thread but has anyone had to get the buttons replaced? My 310XT had a couple of buttons damaged, the unit is still functional but is no longer waterproof. Wanted to know if anyone has sent a unit to be repaired, new buttons and casing, after a crash, etc
