RoadID is a identification tag, much like military dog-tags excepts smaller. Visit their web site (www.roadid.com). I always go out on my runs/ride with it strapped to my ankle.

I keep one hanging on my commuter bike, and one tucked into my running shoes, never leave home for a workout without one. I just put the usual info on, name, bday, ssn, blood type, wife emergency contact info.

I wear my ankle ID every day - except of course to go through airport security - pretty darned embarrassing the first time!!
But - the other nice thing - that many people overlook, being that the band is narrow and lightweight - you can use it to secure your timing chip - by simply pulling off the metal ID part.
No more big flappy neoprene straps banging your ankles
It is the one piece of equipment I have purchased and hope never gets used the way it is intended
