Could you be a crime scene cleaner?

I think I can tolerate pretty much anything with the right protective equipment. If there wasn’t gloves and hazmat suits, I would be out.

I took a cadaver anatomy class in university. The physiotherapy students also worked on the same cadavers, so sometimes the cadaver would be face down when we got to the lab, and we needed them face up. My job was to flip all the cadavers onto the side we needed them to be on.

I don’t mind blood and gore from animals or fish, but don’t think I could handle it coming from humans.

closest I’ve come to a gruesome cleanup - a 3-door commercial fridge broke during a Boston summer and was left to its own devices for 6 weeks, full of food.

putrefaction was well underway, and every surface inside the fridge was covered with fruit fly eggs.

most foul thing I’ve ever cleaned. still shudder at the thought ~25yrs later.

I think I could do it to a point. Don’t mind needles, blood or innards and I find surgical procedure video fascinating. I think I’d have to tap out if things were so far gone that things were pulling apart like brisket. Plus, I gotta believe that some stank makes it through hazmat PPE.

At Titus Andronicus — intermission cleanup. Holy hell.

Brutal play. So that clean up isn’t really cleaning up real blood and gore, right?

Even I could clean up a paint and dye mess. No chance if it’s not.

it was AWESOME

i’m not a native Shakespeare fan nor do I love gore but the last scene there were literally hoses of blood on stage. We had front row seats (small theatre), they gave us blankets against “spattering”
