I have been eating okay this past week, but I’ve been eating quite a few protein bars and noticed stomach problems when I eat them too much. Also, I tend to eat waaaayyyy more when I drink diet soda or eat crappy food. Could changing my eating help me feel better?
Um, yeah, changing what you eat will make you feel better.
Food is fuel. You fill your body with cheap fuel you get bad performance.
Good nutrition is far easier than people make it out to be: Fruits, veggies, nuts, grains, lean protein. Whole foods, not processed. Keep the sugar to a minimum and don’t eat too much or too little. Eat if you are hungry, stop when you are not.
Start there then it can be fine tuned to best meet your individual needs. Do that for a week then come back and let us know how you feel.
also when you use protein bars or protein supplements, the body has a hard time processing more than 25 grams in one sitting. If you go over that amount in one eating you’ll tend to fart a lot and get stomach problems. If it’s real food (eggs, steak, fish etc) I can go way over that 25 gram amount with no issues.
