I think Baylor let up after the fat guy touchdown. When they were laughing after the missed FG they thought they had it won.
Fun game to watch. Started off back and forth, with Baylor hitting the big long pass plays. Then Baylor seemed in control until the end. Can’t let off the gas pedal.
Baylor can’t say anything about the playoff now.
As a long time Spartan fan, I will admit that I gave up hope with 12:00 left in the fourth quarter.

Clean hit as the kicker was running try and stop the run back. He put himself in that situation and was fair game.
Totally fair to block him. Jacking him up straight under the chin was bush league. The blocker launched himself straight up into the kicker’s head. It was Suh-move.

It was purely a matter of the kicker being in a position he rarely had before (pursuing a ball carrier) and not keeping his eyes open for a blocker. And cmon, Suh-like? Please.
I didn’t realize Baylor lost until this morning. I tuned out when it was 41-21 after that giant fat kid caught that TD. The game was a mockery at that point. WOW!
I even watched the Rose Bowl and Sugar Bowl and paid no attention to the Cotton Bowl score that I’m sure scrolled across my TV screen 100 times.
