Just a couple quick questions.

  1. If riding in rain, does water get stuck in the wheels?

  2. do you use them to train and race?

1). No, there are drainage holes near the rim that expel water that comes in through the spoke holes.

2.) I just use mine for racing, but this is mostly to conserve the race rubber I shod them with. They are plenty durable enough to train on.

I’ve used them for the last year. They have been great wheels for training and racing. I am actually getting ready to upgrade to a more aero set of race wheels. I will continue to train on the carbones and would even consider racing them again depending on conditions. I’ve really pounded on these wheels and they’ve been up to every challenge. I’ve only notice them retaining water once and they’ve seen their share of wet rides. The water was expelled as soon as I rode again so no worries there.

For the record I’ve weighed between 190 and 200lbs while riding these wheels. They can handle a fairly heavy load.

I have only used mine in the rain one time with no problems. I have put over 3,500 miles on mine. They are as true and straight as new. I averaged 192 pounds over those miles. I have no complaints.

No water issues for me.

I train and race on them (with a disc cover on the rear). Works very nicely

No.

**2) do you use them to train and race? **

12,278 miles to date on the rear. The front is usually only on for a race. The word bomb proof comes to mind.

Best,

Thanks for the responses. As a feather weight, 135, how are they climbing?
