CORIMA FOX 650c size M -- FOR SALE

Corima Fox 650c, size M (53cm effective top tube). Custom, champagne/gold paintjob with original Corima-yellow fork. I bought it with about 400 miles on it; the guy I bought it from bought the wrong size for himself. I put a lot of miles on it from the end of 2000 through 2004 and perhaps only 1,200 miles since then. It is very aero and very fast. PNF rode this model. I think I banged out a 5:45:00 split at Lake Placid on this.

I believe with my race wheels it weighed 19lbs20oz, and it’s not likely too much more with the trainers on it. The Corima tracks very straight and stable because of the head-tube angle and fork rake. It is NOT twitchy like a crit bike or a tri-bike with the wrong fork. I believe the angles are 75 seat tube, 72.5 head tube, fantastic straight tracking fork rake. I could not find the specs on Corima’s website or even through a Google search.
PHOTOS AVAILABLE ON REQUEST.

WHAT I HAVE: Frame & Fork: Corima Fox 650c M monocoque carbon and famous Corima carbon fork (with alloy steerer tube; NOTE: it is a traditional fork req. stem-w-quill, see below); 75-deg seat; 73-deg head (I think). There are some paint chips here and there, mostly due to my travel case. They are only noticeable close up, and can be touched up. The fork is a traditional threaded/quill-style. Seat Post: (2) Corima carbon, size S. Stem: (2) Actually, this is a Profile “stem converter” to make a traditional quill stem to Aheadset style. I love this Profile piece. I am also including the custom converter I had made before I could find a known brand one. Headset: Stronglight. Very special, very cool. I’ve not seen this on any other bike. I am including, of course, the special wrench. Wheels: Rigida 18-spoke. Bladed spokes. Straight-pull front. Straight on non-drive and single-cross on drive-side rear. Skewers: The ones that came with the wheels. Steel, I think. Tires: Schwalbe Stelvio. Brakes: DuraAce. Pads are in good condition. Gruppo: DuraAce 9-speed. 11-23 y 55-42; chain changed every few thousand miles, don’t know the current brand. Cables: Normal, average. Aerobars: Profile Carbon-X (Original-style extensions; second-generation basebar). Saddle: Selle Italia Flite Titanium (but prefer to keep that and swap out a like-new Giro Pave; besides, do you really want a saddle that my ass has sweated on for years and years???). Pedals: Speedplay Titanium. Bottle Cages: Profile Kage (really durable plastic) with Minoura aluminum rack/mount.
I WILL SELL: Whole bike – $1,100 USD Everything except the Carbon-X, Speedplays and DuraAce – $700
