If you’ve ever been tempted to visit the world’s most beautiful city (Sydney, duh)…well don’t bother. Here’s a 5 minute version.
It’s a hyperlapse video of the Bondi to Manly coastal walk (about 80k) from the near south to the near north of the city, walked over 4 days.
I’ve run both halves of it countless times, but never the entire length in one go, but I’ve just put that on my To Do list (TTSTTTF).
Coastal Walk
I biked about 5,000 km in Australia but now wish I did that walk too. I spent too much time in the Outback but also biked through some wine country, through Adelaide and then along the South Shore and up to Sydney so saw a lot of your beautiful country.
Well, life is short and the world is large.
You’ve seen, and experienced, more of it than 99+% of humanity has. Australians are great travelers, but you’ve probably also seen more of Oz than most Aussies.

My brother teaches at ANU in Canberra so I very well might be back. He’s here in Canada getting married to a lady from Indonesia and they are going back to Canberra in a few weeks. I’ll show him the video, it will be something he’d enjoy.

I haven’t been to Sydney (although it looks nice in the video), but I have been to Cape Town and I don’t know if Sydney could top Cape Town in a “World’s most beautiful city” contest.
