Anyone ever swim at the Delores Bengtson Aquatic Center in Pleasanton? Supposedly a 50m pool w/lap swimming on Saturday morning early.

It is pretty nice. They do have the long course open on Sat. It is amazing how long it feels after swimming 25y so often.

i swum there several years ago when i was in the area, but not regularly, only a few times, when my pool in Livermore was not available. i just did the lap swim when the pool was open.
it is fair facility and it is 50 m, but i don’t recall anything about the masters programs there if they had/have any…
home of the tri valley masters team (www.trivalleymasters.com), to which i belonged for a couple of years before moving back east. great squad and great coach, mary. you’ll find them very welcoming.
facility is top notch, 50m usually on the weekends if i recall correctly, 25m during weekdays, and once in a while we had to take on the 25y pool if there was a meet for the youngsters.

Del Puerto Canyon - as soon as I am able. I bashed my knee in to a boulder up in Big Bear and have been off the bike for almost two weeks. Sadly, I think 1/2 Vineman is off my dance card, though I may be healed enough for Caliman.
Seeing the doc tomorrow to make sure I didn’t crack something.

We are doing open water early Sat at Shadow Cliffs if you drive 2 miles past that pool. I have been to Delores (at Black and Hopyard) a few times but only for the kids regionals so it was set as a 25. We can ride out here anytime you want, just let me know. We will give John a hard time if he can’t go just for fun.

Don’t even think about backing out of Vineman yet, you have a ton of time to get better. If not at least I can beat you this time so its a win win right?

What time are you swimming at Shawdow Cliffs? Though I’m feeling the pool I think since I have a minimum to do and then ride after.

Just down for the Summer to the area, but does anyone want to run/ride from around Livermore this summer on the weekdays? I’m living with family in San Jose, but work out immediately after work to avoid 680. Thinking of doing some swimming in Del Valle reservior.
