He did shift, but did you notice how rough the road was and often most of the others moved about…when the road was smooth he seemed to be pretty stable.
I’m looking, thinking, processing, zooming, etc.
It’s different. No doubt about it, they were trying to keep the aero profile (horizontal to the road plane) shape from the brake back to the tail of the tube, the new one clearly curves down. For what, I can only guess, as my aero expertise stops before splitter plates and all that stuff.

Can’t run the Virtue aerobottle touching the ST – UCI doesn’t like it so they require a gap.
Yes, this is a new size of the Shiv. A couple new changes to adequately match the needs of a smaller bike – lower TT for standover, slightly slacker HT angle, etc.
The bike perfectly matches Contador’s coordinates and he’s given us some great feedback on some specific geometric and layup mods we’ve made to match his riding style.

Once again proving that when the UCI just doesn’t like the “looks” of something, they’ll just go ahead and make up shit that isn’t even in the rules…aye carumba…

When you say it’s a “new size”, do you mean it’s a new size smaller than what you already had, or it’s a “tweener” with some tweaks along with it?..oh, and can you settle the argument between myself and chicanery about how the ridge coming back from the headtube is shaped?
Thanks
I wonder what Zipp charges for the “Pistolero”-version rear disk?
I want the Floyd version…same design, different finger.

Bravo! Nice work.
Probably a lot since they have to buy the disc from Lightweight.
I like the looks of this version- sorta speed concept-ish but it will work better for my purposes. Slack angles, don’t need to do a bunch of part changing to make it UCI legal.
mmmh looks like a bit of the new/old Shiv with a bit of the old Transition, throw in a dash of the Speed Concept and season with the P2/P3/P4 and you get . . . this! ![]()
It’s F-U-G-L-Y…just my $0.02.
In terms of evolution it seems to be a step backwards from the Shiv concept and a few more from the other recent uber-bikes (i.e. Trek Speed Concept, Scott Plasma 3 and Giant Trinity SL). Last, rhetoric…seems to share a similar hump to the Suplicy Quantum TT. So, does it offer anything new (i.e. bells & whistles) or just a new mold of the same old?

Kinda hard to have a step forward when everytime you do the uci kicks your design in the nuts and forces you to change something.
