Why do people not pony up to the lie detector test more often? It would go a long way in the court of public opinion. Because lie detector tests are pseudoscience. The test could come up as a false positive or false negative if you approach it honestly, and with some practice you can guarantee the result you want.

Taking his DNA, running the tests only to come out “negative, none of this blood is AContador’s”, only means it apparently clears him in the court of public opinion, and means they have a harder time to continue to accuse him.
Deep down, the accusers don’t WANT to appear to clear him…they want to continue to accuse. That’s the advantage of having lack of proof…regardless of actual true or false outcome. There are three states: true. false, and don’t know for sure. The third is a strong position.

I suppose I should have said “the Premiership.” It is a great setup as I will get to see more games…but during my college season I won’t get to watch as much when we are on the road.
