"JUNE 29, 2007 – IRVINE, CA (BRAIN)–Felt Bicycles has announced two new staff management additions within the company.
Former western regional sales manager Dave Koesel has taken over as the company’s new road brand manager while Bryan Melton has been hired as the new western regional sales manager…"
Felt’s president Bill Duehring said, “Our strongest candidate was already a member of our staff. Dave is a Cat 1 racer, passionate and extremely knowledgeable about the sport, coupled with his experience in sales and management made him an obvious choice. He will bring us an excellent perspective on what both consumers and our dealers are looking for. I have been impressed with Dave’s product knowledge from day one and know this is a great fit for such an important position within our company.”
From my experience of talking with Dave, the President is spot on.
Well done, Dave nice to see your passion and dedication has paid off. When are you coming to the UK on your familiarisation trip
Time to change the occupation in your user profile…now that you’re kind of a big deal and all Seriously, congratuations on the acknowledgement from your superiors. I’ve never met you but far too many people speak highly of you for you not to be deserving of this promotion.
So does that mean now you can hook a brother up with a deal on a Felt road bike to match the old and probably needs to be replaced since it’s (GASP) aluminum B2 that’s in my garage?
Seems if we have any questions/complaints Super Dave is always there with great(Super) advice-congrats- hope this doesn’t change things ref this forum-wouldn’t be the same without ya
.
I hope it changes a few things for the better. I’ll likely have more time in between posts here as I’ve been on three continents already since my promotion. Lots of great things coming for Felt I’m happy to report. Our engineering and product teams are in full stride and really coming up with some amazing things.
I’m showing off the B2 here in Annecy, in the French Alps-turns heads everywhere (at first I thought it was me!) Unfortunately, I will be in Lorient when the TdF passes our house. Next year!
Scott is here along with Salomon & Mavic if you’re in the area, let us know. and Good luck again.
