Congrats Matty Reed and his Fuji

A few months ago I stated one drawback to the success of the new Fuji D6 was the lack of major sponsorship and wins to influence the average buyer. Matty Reed was very quick to point out he rides the new Fuji. I just wanted to publically acknowledge and congratulate Matty Reed on a great win over an impressive field at the Miami International Tri. Way to go Matty! I wish you continued success this year on the Fuji.

And, having finally seen one in real life, I can say I am very envious and wish I had a D6 too. It’s a damn nice bike.

Matt,

I don’t know how you pulled it off… you don’t ride a Cervelo and you don’t have a Slowtwitch approved position on the bike. Have you thought of having an “Extreme Makeover” internet bike fitting? You’re probably leaving alot of free speed out there on the course.

Seriously though, keep it up. You give tall guys hope for ripping off amazing run splits! Also, amazing performance in the summer of 2008 to carry the US squad into Beijing w/ three spots.

Dude, don’t I know it. I’ve never had the pleasure of meeting Matty Reed yet, but I already feel faster.

(And maybe I am, as I ran down a parolee tonight).

I’m glad to see Fuji doing well in the tri market now. I’m on my 2nd Aloha and I love it! Maybe in 5 yrs I can afford my own (used) D6. :slight_smile:
