I’m a little confused about the running shoes I need. I have high archs and am a supinator - all my shoes wear to the outside of the foot in the heel-. So far i have been on asics landreth with no problems, but recently I’ve got some lighter shoes -Saucony type-A and fastwitch- and decided to change my running form. The end of the story is a partial tear of the achilles and 4 to 6 weeks of no running according to the doctor, mainly because of the change in form and no the shoes. I consider myself sort of an efficient runner.
Because of my high archs doc recomends shoes with some arch support, but I understood that this type of shoes are OK if you pronate and not so good if you’re a supinator.
Please, help me out trying to decide which type of shoes should I be looking at when I can go back to running again.
