Confirmation of qualification for Clearwater

I was just having a look through Ironman.com and clicked on the link to athletes qualified for Clearwater.

We went through the whole paying fee’s and confirmation at Geelong, how long does it normally take for athletes to get ‘confirmation’ that their entry has been accepted etc. As I’ve just noted that Spam’s name isn’t on the list as yet?

A long time, if ever. They don’t start paying much attention to the web site until a month or so before the race, at least that is how it was last year. If you are concerned you can e-mail them and they will confirm receipt of your entry fairly promptly.
