Race Director won’t post results from past years, but encourages me to stalk past participants. Does that sound fair?
E-mail exchange (with typos and grammar errors):
Thank you for writing in to Marathon 2011.
Kindly be informed that we cannot disclose the results of past year runner due to confidentianality. You can log into runpix.com to search for runner’s results provied that he has the bib number of the runner.
As for the slow joggers/walkers, we have already taken measures to place the runners to the last pen to reduce congestion of human traffic.
Thank You.
Best Regards,

Where are the results for Standard Charter Singapore Marathon for 2010, 2009, 2008…?
What are the race organizers planning to do about people who stop and walk on the course and disrupt the flow of the racers? Will there be signs up for slow joggers/walkers to stay to the Left?
Considering that you talking with a person regarding a race in Singapore, who probably speaks english as a second or third language, I would not get to knit picky about the typos/grammar.
As for race results being confidential, that is a new one on me.
I don’t think that she’s looking for a particular person. I think she’s looking for the entire field to give her a general indication as to how her time stacks up against the rest of the field. I sometime do that myself. It gives me a point of reference as to how fast or slow I can run and still be in the top/bottom x%.
Yes, I understand that. If you go to one of the results links, at the bottom of the page it has all of the results from the race sorted by either gender or age group.
I’m not going to give any Singaporean a pass on bad grammar or spelling. They tout that they can speak two or more languages (4 official), yet do not know how to use the F7 button. English is the business language and used in schools here.
My friend (who is a local) told me that the runners are upset that the marathon cut-off time is only 8 hours. I looked it up–18 minute miles. That might be a reason why the results are confidential.
Goosedog, “Occupy Singapore.” Don’t go there!! Some guy in SG got thrown in jail 40 minutes after critisizing the Youth Olympics in SG.
